Aftercare
Following these steps helps your results settle safely and beautifully:
- Avoid Aspirin, Motrin, Gingko Biloba, Garlic, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, or any other essential fatty acids for at least 1 week after treatment.
- Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging treated areas for 24 hours.
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms, extreme temperatures, tanning beds, or strong sun exposure for the 2 days after treatment.
- Avoid makeup until the day after your treatment.
- Avoid the use of retinol or similar products for 2 days after treatment.
- Avoid facial treatments such as laser, ultrasounds, peels, facial or micro-dermabrasion for 4 weeks after your treatment.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours to reduce the risk of bruising or swelling.
If you have had any cold sores or oral herpetic infection in the past, any treatment to your face may trigger reactivation.
