I’m Dr Sophie Flavell, a Consultant Physician and Aesthetic Doctor with nearly 20 years’ experience in medicine. I practice with a holistic approach, believing that true wellbeing comes from understanding the whole person.

I have always loved working closely with patients. Aesthetic medicine allows me to combine this with practical treatments that help people feel more confident and comfortable in themselves. To deliver the highest standard of care, I have trained extensively with an award-winning training academy and completed advanced courses in aesthetic medicine.

I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2008 with a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery and became a Member of the Royal College of Physicians in 2012. After completing my general medical and higher specialist training in London, I moved to the East Midlands, where I now work as a Consultant in Genitourinary Medicine in the NHS. Alongside clinical practice, I have a longstanding interest in education and hold a Master’s in Medical Education (Distinction, 2015).

At Elera, I bring the same principles I follow in clinical medicine to aesthetic care: careful assessment, clear communication and an unwavering focus on safety.
